Elizabeth Amon, DA II
Elizabeth is a dedicated dental assistant with a passion for patient care and a love for the dental field. She graduated from NC Dental U in 2023 and has since gained valuable experience across various roles within the profession.
Known for her friendly demeanor and strong work ethic, she enjoys building meaningful relationships with patients. She strives to ensure that each patient feels comfortable and well-cared for during their visit.
Dedicated to ongoing professional development and driven by her love for learning, Elizabeth plans to further her career by returning to school to pursue an Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene. This will allow her to expand her skill set, and make an even greater impact on patient care as she continues her journey in the dental field.
Heidi Carias, DA II
Heidi was born and raised in North Carolina, she graduated from NC Dental U in 2024. As a Dental Assistant, Heidi enjoys learning about the various treatments and the impact they have on patient health ,and how she can help transform a patient’s smile.
Heidi is dedicated to making patients feel comfortable throughout their visit. Her main focus is helping those who have had negative dental experiences in the past feel more confident and relaxed moving forward.
Outside of her professional life, Heidi enjoys exploring new recipes and experimenting in the kitchen. She also loves spending quality time with her dogs, who are an important part of her life.
Peyton Carlyle, RDH
Peyton is a compassionate dental hygienist who values patient centered care and strives to make every visit a positive experience. She earned her Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Horry Georgetown Technical College in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Peyton loves helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their oral health and creates a supportive, uplifting atmosphere for everyone she sees. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, beach days, and spending quality time with her family.
Amani Mohamed
Amani grew up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and brings both expertise and passion to her role at Maplewood Family Dental. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from North Carolina Central University, where she developed a strong foundation in healthcare and discovered her passion for dentistry.
Amani is a valuable member of the Maplewood Family Dental team through her commitment to providing a positive experience for every patient she meets. She delivers attentive care, builds meaningful connections, and continuously grows her knowledge and skills within the dental field.
Outside of the office, Amani enjoys painting, gardening, staying active, giving back to her community, and spending time with family and friends.
